Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cookd Pro is a simple, no-lock-in subscription. Here's exactly how billing renews, what happens when you cancel, and how refunds work.
Cancel anytime
Cookd Pro is billed in advance and renews automatically — monthly plans renew each month, annual plans each year — until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page in your account. There are no cancellation fees and no lock-in.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
- After that period ends, your account moves to the Free plan. Your data stays intact; only Pro-only features become unavailable.
- Changed your mind before it expires? You can resume your subscription to stay on Pro without interruption.
What happens to your data
Cancelling never deletes your wins, goals, learning, or documents. On the Free plan you keep full access to your record; the difference is in Pro-only capabilities (such as unlimited AI, premium PDF and formatted exports, and custom rubrics). See Pricing for the full breakdown.
Refunds
If Cookd Pro isn’t right for you, we offer a 14-day refund on your first purchase — and this applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions. To request one, email support@eastbase.studio from the address on your account within 14 days of that purchase.
- Annual plans: the 14-day window applies to the initial annual purchase. After 14 days the annual term is non-refundable, but you keep Pro for the full year and can turn off auto-renewal anytime.
- Renewal charges: any monthly or annual renewal after the first purchase is generally non-refundable — cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. If a renewal genuinely caught you by surprise, contact us and we’ll try to make it right.
- Processing time: approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Lemon Squeezy and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- We may decline refunds in cases of clear abuse of the product or this policy.
Payment processor
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for all Cookd purchases — they process payments, handle checkout and taxes, and issue invoices. Your purchase is therefore also subject to the Lemon Squeezy buyer terms shown at checkout. Your invoices, payment method, and billing history live in their customer portal, which you can reach from the Billing page.
